CHANCE COLLAGE AND CHANCE/CHAT GPT POEM

I tore up a pink piece of paper into strips and let them drop right behind me onto a white sheet coated with sticky glue adhesive. The unpredictability of the drop created an abstract, haphazard effect I did not plan out. The mess was intended to speak for itself. Once the paper settled and attached, I cut into a newspaper and randomly looked for phrases that I could introduce as poetic content. I found four pieces cut them out of those four worded phrases and placed them randomly over the pink collage. Then leave it so words would mingle together with visual compositions. Phrases are based upon the tone emotional value as well as on their rhythmic quality. They provided a narrative element to the haphazardness of the pink scraps. The result was an impromptu, mixed-media poem—half found poem, half collage—blending color, texture, and word in a single cohesive, expressive piece.

Layed off, but the big stay tall,
Mer told USA, heed the call.
Voices of power speak and sigh,
Truth and trust are short in supply.
